“When I initially spoke to Carl about the simple small area of decking I required, he came up with some excellent ideas which I hadn’t thought of. I have a large pond with carp and the decking was on an area above this. Carl suggested an observation deck that would allow me to look into the pond from this area. “Carl came round to give me a quote to lay decking. It was not a simple job as a large amount of soil had to be dug out to lay the decking under the door sill with a sloping garden. “Oakfields have been a brilliant find. Their response to our initial email was quick and helpful, one of only a handful of firms who bothered at all. We were initially looking to fence off three sides of our fairly extensive plot, to enable our dog to run freely. Carl turned up as agreed and spent a significant period of time discussing with us what could be done, and how best costs could be kept down without compromising unnecessarily on quality. He was by turns professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and creative, showing a level of interest a customer can usually only wish for!
